Power Max CHARGERS:
The PM3 series power converter/battery charger from Power
Max converts 120vac to 12/24vdc. As a power supply, its tightly
controlled regulation allows the user to operate any 12 or 24
volt nominal DC load up to the converter's rated output current.
As a battery charger, the converter will maintain the battery,
delivering its full rated current when the battery capacity falls
sufficiently low. The voltage is set to deliver its maximum current
for the necessary time without overheating the cells, prolonging
battery life. As the battery reaches its full capacity the converter
will float charge the battery to prevent to prevent self discharging
of its cells. Protection features include reverse polarity, over
current and high temperature. Two year warranty.
